Shipping Policy
At StairMod, we specialize in premium DIY stair lighting. We take extra care in our fulfillment process to ensure every kit is thoroughly inspected, reinforced with protective packaging, and delivered safely to your door anywhere in the world.
1. Order Processing & Inspection
All orders are processed and prepared for dispatch within 1–3 business days (Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays). Before shipment, each lighting kit undergoes a thorough quality inspection to verify sensors, wiring integrity, and component completeness. Delicate LED strips and electronic controllers are packed with high-density inserts to prevent movement and impact during transit.
2. Estimated Transit Times
We ship globally. Once dispatched, standard tracked delivery typically takes 5–15 business days depending on your destination country and customs clearance. If express delivery is selected and available, it typically takes 3–8 business days.
3. Tracking Your Shipment
As soon as your order leaves our fulfillment center, you will receive an automated Shipping Confirmation Email containing your tracking number, a direct link to our live courier tracking portal, and carrier details. You can also check the real-time status of your parcel anytime using the tracking number provided.
4. Split Shipments & Multi-Box Orders
If you have ordered multiple kits or a large number of components, your order may occasionally arrive in multiple boxes with separate tracking numbers. This is done intentionally to protect delicate components from colliding in transit.
5. Transit Insurance & Delivery Guarantee
Every StairMod order is 100% covered by transit insurance. In the rare event that a component or kit arrives damaged, please take clear photos of the packaging and damage and contact us at support@stairmod.com within 48 hours of delivery. We will dispatch a complimentary replacement part or entire kit on priority at zero cost to you.
6. Address Accuracy & Redelivery
Please double-check your shipping address prior to completing checkout. We cannot reroute packages once they have been dispatched. If a package is returned to sender due to an insufficient address, failed delivery attempts, or refusal, redelivery fees may apply.
7. Customs & Duties (International Shipments)
Depending on your destination country's regulations, import duties, local taxes, or customs clearance charges may occasionally apply. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
